Is your website mobile enabled?
Retrofitting your existing website to display well on small screens, iPhones, Google Android devices, handheld devices and mobiles is not only becoming increasingly necessary to optimize the value of your web presence, it is also a very good idea.Recent statistics show a faster-than-gradual increase in the ratio website viewers who are browsing the web with mobile devices. Currently perhaps as many as 5% of users are browsing with such devices, and this is only likely to increase.
Mobile enablement means taking a hard look at your website and evaluating where the website needs to be changed. Sometimes it could even be quicker to dump the website and start again, but generally speaking a new stylesheet, some added whitespace and an increase in the size of the buttons will help a lot.
This type of enablement makes much more sense than attempting to build a mobile app for the web. That would be a lot of work, and often not for the greatest of benefits, while your current website could fulfill the role of a mobile app in probably less than a day!
